About Ask-China

Ask-China helps foreign visitors turn unfamiliar China travel situations into a clear next step. We publish practical, problem-led guides and connect them to the Dining product that is available today.

What is available today

Dining is the only live Ask-China app module. It helps travelers read menu content, compare dishes with preferences they have entered, and prepare bilingual questions for restaurant staff.

Accommodation, transport, shows, and other app modules are future directions. Our travel guides cover those subjects as editorial information; they are not claims that those product modules already exist.

How we check travel guidance

We prefer official authorities and first-party providers for rules, forms, emergency numbers, booking processes, and other details that can change. Each guide shows a visible information-check date and links to official checks when they are important.

A check date is not a promise that every local process is identical. Travelers should verify current station, hotel, carrier, payment, immigration, and emergency information with the responsible official or provider before relying on it.

What Local Help can and cannot do

Local Help sends a structured request to the Ask-China Gmail inbox. If a helper can assist, they may reply by email. It is not a live chat, emergency dispatcher, booking service, or guaranteed-response service.

If you spot an outdated detail, use Local Help and include the page URL, the statement that needs review, and an official source when possible.
